This totally stinks. I bought myself a 50 cents temporary Chinese character tattoo. I mistakenly put the tattoo on the edge of the sink (I didn't know it was wet) and now the tattoo is ruined. I really wanted to wear that tattoo.
I wonder when I'll pass by that vending machine again...

music: [HiFi Message- Every Little Thing]
I am SO pissed. I have never before met so many snotty and arrogant people in my life. My mother has a new dry cleaners two blocks away from the United Nations. Obviously, all the residents who live near the UN are extremely rich. My mother has been in the business for 13 years and is the reason why our family is able to survive.
These people have no patience at all. Not all of them are the stereotypical rich aristocrats you think of. Yesterday, I had met this extremely tolerant and pleasant lady who understood that it was the dry cleaning retail company who had lost her sheets, not my mother and her dry cleaners.
Apparently, people near this area are not very tolerant of people with accents. They think Asian accent equals uncivilized and inferior. They don't care to explain their requirements for their laundry a second time nor do they ever think of sparing a hardworking woman from her thick accent and weak English.
It's ironic how these people live a block away from the United Nations -- a place of international culture, politics and most importantly, language. Now I feel guilty for not being there when this aristocratic lady yelled at my mother mercilessly while I was at a meeting.

The World Cup final is just half an hour away. I CAN'T WAIT! I hope France wins because I love Zidane! His footwork is absolutely amazing and inspiring!
Random comment but everyone should read "The Plot Against America" by Philip Roth. The chilling account of young Philip's life in a Lindbergh Administration sounds incredibly realistic. The references to Nazi-related events are bluntly evident in the book.
Is anyone going to AnimeNext in June 2007? I know I am planning extremely early but I am really anxious. Since I have no regents next year, I am staying at the hotel for two nights if people share a room with me. We could fit at least 5 people (including myself) inside the room. We'll just share the beds and if needed, someone could sleep on the floor. If we split the cost, it will be around 30$ per person, which isn't too bad. We also need to pre-register for the convention, which will be 30$ for all three days. If you're interested, contact me ASAP!
